Make a Submission

The IndigConLaw Blog welcomes all submissions on First Nations constitutional law issues, including Australian focussed posts, and those arising in foreign and international jurisdictions that have comparative relevance for Australia. We conceive of the idea of constitutional law broadly: extending to both capital “C” constitutional law and small “c” constitutional issues. We particularly welcome (but the blog is not limited to) posts on the reforms contained in the Uluru Statement from the Heart: Voice, Treaty, Truth.

Academics, practitioners and other writers are encouraged to make a submission. The blog is written for the Australian Public: we are seeking pieces that use clear, engaging and accessibly language suitable for an interested audience of lawyers and non-lawyers.

Blogs will typically be 1500-2500 words, although we will consider longer posts. Referencing should be kept to a minimum, and we encourage authors to use hyperlinks rather than references where available. We do not use footnotes.

IndigConLaw is committed to publishing posts of the highest quality, and all posts received will be subject to review and editing by the editorial team at the Indigenos Law Centre.

To submit a piece for consideration, or to discuss your idea, please email indigconlaw@gmail.com
